I am still in France but soon to be back home. Last month, I received 'Poem of the Month' at Gold Dust Magazine for Talking Laundry. The same magazine has accepted a flash fiction piece - Summer of No Summer - for their forthcoming issue. A second flash fiction piece, A Trail of Crumbs, will appear in Issue #3 of Write Me a Metaphor.

The only real news I've got is that I've been asked to be a contributing writer to the Easy-Writer Blog, with a focus on my experiences as a parent of someone who has a mental illness, which I hope to tackle with sensitivity and some insight. Unfortunately, the story doesn't really have a happy ending, but it is what it is.
