to speak again

i walk through fireflies toward summer

mountains.  curious paths

bears & hawks & water

inside the curve  small steps

within the pyramids & arcs

unraveling structure a self

of confines & ambiguity like a spider's

web outside the blue wooden door

cut lilies & roses arranged

silent questions without

separate.  the sound of trees

between fire & water
